Default Noobie with a question

I'm looking for some advise. I've never owned a pick-up, let alone a Dodge Ram. I'm looking to by a 2006 Power Wagon with 36K miles. According to the owner it was never been wrecked and has been well maintained. From the pictures it looks like it is in good shape but the asking price is only $15K which seems very low to me.

The truck is over a hour away. With that sort of price is there something this guy isn't telling me and I shouldn't go waiste my time? What are some common potential issues I could look for or ask about? any help would be great.

That's low, they are rare, at least in my area and even with high mileage command a premium around here.

It's possible that it's cherry and the guy is desperate to unload it. Bad economy and the thing does get TERRIBLE gas mileage, even for a 3/4 ton truck. That could be why it's so under valued.

It could have issues, they are notorious for ball joint, tie rod and death wobble problems, but I'd not think so with so few miles.

I'd proceed with caution, but definitely wouldn't pass it up site unseen. I haven't seen an '06 1500 4x4 around here with that low mileage selling for much under $18k, so a Power Wagon under that price would throw a caution flag up for me.

I'd take a look, drive it and possibly even have a mechanic look at it before pulling the trigger. But if it does check out, hell you could drive it for a year or two and still be able to sell it for what you paid for it, if not more.
