does anyone know if the recon roof lights come with a template ? im looking to putting some on my 04 and was wondering if they give u any measureing points?

 

No they do not, the only set of cab lights I know of that comes with a template are the actual Mopar orange ones.

I inquired on a couple of forums (this one included) for anyone who bought the actual Mopar ones to send me one after installing their lights so I could copy & make it available to anyone who was looking to install a set. The only guy who responded said he had the dealership do the install and didn't give him his template when done.

You don't really need it, the Recon instructions give you the measurements and where to measure off of (NOW, they didn't when I did mine). But having the template sure would make it easy...

this is the recon site . http://www.gorecon.com/products.php?p_cat=29 from what i understand if you want orange ones if you get them from dodge they come with a template that would make it easier to install. recon prices are compareable to oem prices . but they have smoked and clear if you like that look ?

There is a harness inside the passenger side A pillar you can tap into.

The other advantage of the Recons is that they are LEDs whereas the Mopar ones are bulbs.
