The bulbs are amber in color from the factory, so your turn signals will still be perfectly legal.
I plan to replace the headlights with Blue headlights, they're only $20/pair CDN, and it will really make the truck stand out.
Thanks for your support guys, but I do have a little bit of a horror story.
I went outside to do the other light after writing this review, and where you screw the 2 bolts in, just to the side of the radiator, well I broke that piece... ****ing cheap plastic. Oh well, I put a couple of screws in it and it seems to be holding. Eventually I'm sure I'll get in an accident and have to replace the headlight assembly's anyways :P LOL (what a positive outlook hey?) Anyways, I feel very proud of the work I've done today, and it really looks slick!
JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN DOING ANY SORT OF MODIFICATION TO YOUR VEHICLE. Take your time, and you could save yourself a lot of money, and end up with a really clean looking product!

Good job Rob. I'm glad you proved wrong in the difficulty of the project as I's rather have you do it and have a functional headlight than me be right...LOL
!
The only thing that would concern me is the legality of not having a reflector on the front, but it looks absolutely awesome!

Rob:
Thanks for the write-up. I've done this with other vehcles and it was MUCH more work than with the Ram, fortunately for Ram owners who wish to do this.
Would you please post a close-up pic of the finished light in the truck from the side. I want to see what the bulb "cavity" looks like with the amber defuser removed. On some vehicles it is very crude and unfinished looking. Can't tell from your 3/4 frontal pic.
Also, for anyone interested. It IS legal to have Either amber or white turn/parking lights, unless, some particular state overrides this. For example, it IS legal in CA, which usually has the most stringent vehicle related laws and sets the trend for others, including the Feds. Hence, one need not run amber bulbs. They are typically the first thing to go on my new vehicles, especially if they also function as "running lights."
Thanks, again and all the best.

I'll take the picture as soon as my wife gets home with my truck. I take her little 1.6L 4-banger to work every day, I drive 50 miles round-trip for work every day, so... That HEMI is costing me like $400/month in gas, I can't really afford that. If I could, I probably would have just bought some "ricer" headlights instead of all the DIY projects I've been comming up with. :P :P :P
So, picture should be comming very soon.
