Default Please help!!

First... sorry... I am new here and cannot find where to ask this question, hopefully they will move it to the right area.

I have an 05 ram 1500 with hemi.

A while back I noticed everytime I turned my heater/AC on, the light on the AC button ALWAYS came on too. I used to have to press it to get AC.

Then I noticed that when I switch to defrost vents... nothing happens!! It stays on front vents and some comes out the floor vents.

I have searched everywhere for this solution... I watched a vid on how to replace blend doors and took half my dash off and the 3 doors I checked are fine and working.

Which door operates the defrost??

Does anyone know the issue?? The whole AC light thing is weird. Is it connected in some way, like a warning or trouble indicator???

Im not sure why the AC always comes on but you said "everytime I turned my heater/AC on". I have an 04 and mine AC controls have two big ***** (speed and direction) and then two round buttons on the far right (AC on/off and mirror defrost). Do you have the same?

There are LOTS of threads on the blend doors not opening or closing as they should. Doing a simply thread search will greatly help you.
