check the level and color of your tranny fluid. being even half a quart low on fluid can cause these trannys to do some crazy stuff.

when you check your fluid, have the truck up to normal operating temperature. then park on a level surface. apply the parking brake, and put the truck in neutral. leave it running. then check the fluid just like you would check oil. if it is low, only add ATF+4 and nothing else.

Yea check your tranny fluid.

I'm having transmission troubles myself on my truck. Not something to mess around with or it gets very costly
