Heated seats ...and laramie question
Helo Folks,
I have a 2003 Hemi 4x4 laramie badged truck. Vin is correct for laramie, and has features like all power, autodimming/heated mirrors, wood, prem stereo, steer wheel controls, heated seats etc.
what boggles me is that the truck has cloth seats. pressing the heated seat button does not light up the led or do anything on any side. If I look underthe seat there are couple of harnesses, all connected.
Question 1: Did any Laramie come with cloth seats? Can cloth seats be heated.
If the answer is yes, I will investigate whats wrong with seat heaters. It seems to me that someone swapped out seats otherwise.

I'm pretty sure you can get cloth heated seats even in the Laramie. If not, heated add-ons are available for cloth.
Others have said they lost illumination but the heater function still worked. is that true with you or have you assumed that they don't work because of the no light condiditon? if they don't work at all, check the fuses and if that's a no-go, i would say you may need a new switch.
