Found it! It was the sway bar bushings.....they looked and felt tight UNTIL I was able to jump up and down on the tow hooks and have a buddy watch them....they had enough play in them I couldn't see by myself. I replaced them with the energy suspension ones with the grease fittings (they were cheap) and WOW, noise-free and no more rattle, a 20 minute job.....thanks guys, hope this helps someone else.

Grab the tire, and pull like hell, until the truck is rocking. I found a lose swaybar link this way. Helps to have a friend, underneath.

I have the same problem. How much were the bushing replacements form energy suspension? And do you think you could do a write up on how to change them?

I had the same problem so I replaced wit the solid energy suspension sway bar links, they only had they 4 1/2 inch ones (21.99 at advance) so I to cut off 3/4 of a inch of the sleave spaced to get the bolt started. Figured y go with one that r 40 bucks a piece when I can just buy a nudging replacement kit for 10.99 for both sides, n it works great
