EBC brake problems
My truck is an'07 Hemi quad cab 4x2.
About 8k miles ago, I swapped out the front rotors and pads with EBC's ultimax slotted rotors and green stuff pads. At the same time, I had just put new tires on the front and had an alignment done. I also changed both front wheel bearings, so essentially, I was running with a nice clean slate to start a brake install on. Just recently, I've gotten some sever wobble, shaking at highway speeds when I apply the brakes. Around town and at any speeds below about 50, I can't detect any pulsing or shake. I contacted the vendor I purchased the brakes from and they gave me the EBC line that I must have not installed them correctly. THat I should have checked run-out on everything to make sure all was within tolerances (which I did, following the procedure on EBC's website).
EBC points me to getting the rotors turned on a pro cut lathe system. My local shop that has one of these thigns wants to charge me $192 to do the service. A new set of replacement EBC rotors is just over $200.
Am I wrong to think they should warranty this situation? My factory brakes lasted 78k miles without the slightest pulse, pull or issue.
Frustrated to say the least.

I would raise hell, but don't expect anything. Sadly, that's the downside of doing your own work, they will ALWAYS play the "incorrect installation" card. Been there, done that...
I've found that usually (and the number one reason I do my own work) is that I do it the correct way instead of cutting corners like most "professionals".
Oh I hear ya'... I won't let ANYBODY touch my vehicles unless it's work I absolutely can't do. My gear & LSD install is the only work I've not done on my truck myself.
BUT, it does give a manufacturer an out, if there's an issue. As unfounded as it may be...
I found one place that does slotted rotors today, and they use a machine that turns them on the truck....
