Default ignition will not turn over / truck shuts off while driving!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i have a 06 ram 3.7 with 6spd manual. for quite a while , the truck will not start in cold weather. whenever you try and turn the key , nothing happens. wont even engage the solonoid on the starter. weve always thought that there was moisture in the clutch cancel sensor because every time we move it into the garage in the heat or put a salamander under the cab , it starts right up.

couple weeks ago , during the warm weather , the igntion would turn over and it would try to start , but would just crank and crank. acted like the fuel pump had gone out. finally after letting it sit for about 2 hours , it started and has been working ever since.

then just this morning , i was driving down the road , about 45-50 degrees , and the truck shuts off. we had another truck act similar to that , but it kinda of stuttered out because the cam shaft sensor was going out. today , it just shut off. didnt idle , didnt stutter out , just shut down , but all the gauges were working fine. got it pulled off to the side and tried to start it again. still , will not start like it was doing before. wont even turn over the solonoid?!?!?!?

can anyone give me a tip on what it might be? i have a few people tell me its the egr valve and others have told me that the ecm is starting to go out?!?!?!

Can you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key On?

Are you getting any CELs lit up on the dash. Any DTC codes?

Sounds like it may be an ignition switch, you have power in the acc position, but it isn't even sending juice to the solenoid to start. As for why it died going down the road... i am not sure. The ignition switch is a 3 pos switch though and it may have just started to show failure on the start position first.
