Default level kit and struts

Am I able to use stock struts with a 2.5" leveling kit on a 2007 ram 1500 crew cab 4x4?

You can if you get strut spacers, but if you want better ride quality without really worrying about wearing suspension parts out get the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts. They do wonders. I went ahead and bought rear shocks while I was at it too.

That's exactly what I did as well. It made a world of difference doing all four struts/shocks around it. Plus the back socks were cheap and REALLY easy to replace.

Yep. Night and day difference over stock.

So by using the 5100's does it affect geometry? what I mean is does it need an alignment afterwards and does it wear front suspension components like spacers do?

No, it puts far less stress on wheel bearings and ball joints and are superior to spacers if you are off roading. All you need is an alignment, 40 bucks where I get mine done.
