Default Torsion Bar Lift Max Turns?

I just did the Torsion Bar lift to level my 04 Ram 4X4 Quad Cab. I had to turn Drivers side bolt 9 1/2 times to get it level with rear. Only had to turn Passeger side bolt 7 1/2 times to level with rear. I measured from bottom lip of wheel to bottom edge of fender and measured center line of wheel and bottom edge of fender. Measurments are true.
I am already getting new shocks from them topping out.
I like the stiffer ride.(that's what she said) Lol!
My concern is, am I cranked to far to do any damage?
Thanks!!!

just make sure you get your tuck aligned , i cranked mine up to and it threw the alignment way off , and as long as you get new shocks you should be ok ,

7.5 is more than i've heard of before. Seems excessive. Did you do this with an empty gas tank or something?

you wont damage them by turning the bolt even as far as it will go (immediate damage that is). The more you turn them, the more wear you're gonna have on them. They will just wear out much faster than usual. Whereas its not common to have to replace sagging torsion bars on a stock truck, you might have to replace the t-bars in 30-40k miles. As for immediate side effects, there shouldnt be any other than a higher truck and a harsher ride.
