Default Cut outs

I have been searching the forum for an answer on the single vs dual cut outs on a stock exhaust. I have a 2008 5.7 with the MDS and I am not sure if it will sound like crap or not.

Do single, anything more and it wont run right, well as fast. Unless you are highly modified a dual will actually hurt your performance. Even the single on an all stock vehicle wont perform as good as a buttoned up system. Sound wise you should be fine, dont know how it will sound when the mds kicks in though.

DO NOT get a cutout unless you have a programmer to disable the MDS!!! The exhaust sounds bad enough when the MDS kicks in with a muffler, but with a cutout it sounds absolutely horrible. On the flip side, however, if you do disable the MDS, a cutout sounds awesome.

How would you do dual cutouts on a stock exh system anyway?
