yea I posted a DIY with the eraser wheel but recently did another dodge and bought the 3m adhesive remover and it worked great. If you dont have a paint shop to buy an eraser wheel and dont order it online, any of your auto stores will have the 3m remover

Online is best, is a link in my DIY to where I get 'em for like $10. Always good to have one in the old tool box. I've found it's fantastic for tree sap too. Especially that good old Georgia Pine sap! Hit it for about a second and then wipe with an alcohol prep pad - gonzo.

However, auto paint supply stores have 'em on the cheap too, seen one for $12.95 in one in Florida.

Auto parts stores carry them or can get them usually in a day, but they can be high. NAPA's always seem to have 'em in stock, but get $34.95 for 'em (actual 3M brand), Autozone usually has them too (also real 3M) and are about $25.

I did a group buy for a case at the place I get 'em from online about a year ago between here, DT and a couple of my buddies. Had about half dozen guys on DT go in, but none of ya cheap fargin' bastages from here...

Just go to walmart and get some fishing line. Goo gone is at walmart too. The adhesive remover is better and at any auto store. You can do all this for $10-15.

I de-badged with a heat gun, a air dryer would work, and floss. Worked good.

I used fishing line and goo-gone. It worked but was a lot of work getting the tape off with my thumb. Both thumbs were sore for like two days afterward. The eraser wheel sounds like the way to go and what I should have probably used! good luck
