Default Coolant leak

I got a leak coming from my water pump. Its not on the front where the fan connects but from the engine block side. Doesn't seem to happen all the time but some days it drips all day long while sitting and then other days its dry as a bone.. Engine is running normal temp and minimal fluid loss. Is there a gasket to replace or should I replace the water pump also? Doesn't look like a hard Job. maybe just needs the bolts tightened a little? I also have a leak on my power steering cooler. Thats an easy fix, New cooler $71 thru Dodge but whats up with the leaks all at once?

you could just try and replace the gasket behind the water pump, use a good gasket glue to put the new one on and you should be good to go.

Leaks can happen at any given time. They can be at 25k or 125k. You can try tightening the bolts. i would start there first. If that doesnt work then replace the pump as the seal is a bead type seal pressed into the groove on the pump. You can get the service manual linked in my signature below if you need help getting it off but it is fairly simple.

Believe me I did ball joints on my last Ram with snow on the ground.. I have a 2 car garage but these trucks don't seem to fit very well... Funny My house is only 30 years old and back then all the cars were big.. But the garage barely fit my 69 Coronet when I had it.. couldn't open the drivers side door and the house was built in its time period?? Oh well warm cloths. turbo heater and start wrenching... LOL
