i tried looking but didnt find anything and im sure someone else has had this answerd anyways, whats the common cause to the "p0300" code? long story short about a week ago my truck overheated and once i got it started it started to run like crap. It gave me the "p0302" and "p0307" code. I replaced all the spark plugs and the coils to cyl 2 and 7. Well that didn't fix anything and now it only gives me code "p0300". It runs like crap and cant seem to find a solution. Please help me guys.

ohh and if it helps its a 2005 ram 1500 2wd with the 4.7 sfi.

 

A lot of guys who over heat the 4.7 have issues from the heads and head gaskets. If you have already swapped around or replaced the coils and plugs on those cylinders then it may be time to check more deep into the engine and have the heads or gaskets pressure checked.

Do a search on here for 4.7s that have over heated and see what else they have tried to do to accomplish the same codes.

click on my post and read through it, you might have the exact same problem as i did and i could help you do it yourself
