I know it's an old post, but I have same error code problem. ( P0406)
after reading every thing it looks like I need to go to the dealer and have them:
" involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software."
Is this right? I can't just clean the thing? Or replace it?
