I just picked up a 2007 regular cab 1500 3.7 v6 and I'm just looking in to maybe putting an exhaust on in the future so I searched around and magnaflow or flowmaster doesn't carry an exhaust kit for this truck. Are there any aftermarket exhausts available for the v6? Or am I going to have to stick with the stock exhaust.

 

get it done custom at a exhaust shop, it will be cheaper and perform just as good

 

Are you looking for noise or power? If noise, just get a muffler and have a shop weld it in for you, no sense paying too much for something nobody will see. If you're looking for power, go ahead and sell the truck and get one with a v8.

 

I picked up the truck from a friend that lost his job and couldn't make the payments so I was just wondering if the exhaust option was there, if no one major makes the exhaust then Ill be fine with the stock exhaust. I'm mainly focusing on a sound system first then Ill start doing exterior mods and finally maybe performance.

 

Agreed on the custom exh. But at the same time it will never be a racer or fast so IDK that I would do anything more than maybe just change the muffler for a different sound.

I was looking at the owners manual today and when it showed the diagram of the 3.7 and the 4.6(i believe) and they looked almost identical so would the exhaust system off the 4.6 fit the 3.7, just a thought if it isn't possible then its all good.
