Umm 6.1, Comp 260, Crazy Jay. Maybe the Comp 273 but you dont want to go there.

268/273 will not work. Dont bother will a 6.1. Either 260 or Sidewinder or an older 210 on 112 LSA but that might be pushing it.

Yeah the 268 is a no go but the 273 can be drivable on a 91 tune. Not optimal of course and i def' don't recommend it over the 260 and sidewinder or any tq cams. Just threw that option out there.

Try the 210 I know of AF_HEMI is running it with a custom tune via diablo. and it runs good. The sidewinder though may require more than the SC tune (ask Silverbullet). The 268/273 wont run on a SC tune, and even if the 273 could run, the severe lack of lowend in that cam wouldnt be good for pulling. So that leaves the crazy jay, crazy spartan, 260 or call up stu at inertia and have him re-grind you a 6.1 cam on a 114-116lsa (basically stock) and get him to add gobbs of tq to it, ask Rubberfrog about that one. There are plenty of options out there, the biggest thing you need to look at is just to make sure that the specs for the most part match a stock 6.1 in terms of the lsa and you should be good

I like reading these threads.... there are obviously several cams that work well on a 03. I just wonder why most folks are reluctant to run them?

I think because so many guys over the years have been told and repeated to other what they were told about 03's not being able to be tuned. Although they are restricted on raising or lowering idle, I think everything else can be done. With the cams I tried I never had to raise idle anyway so I never understood why someone else like an 03 be able to run them.
