Default Question for you Motor Heads?

Wow, its been a while since I've been on......

Question is this, I've noticed lately that my gas mileage as dwindled significantly.

Could this be because I need a tune up? or is my vehicle running rich, or is it anything else?

Thanks in advance.

If it just started, more than likey its the cooler air causing you to run richer, however, a good tune up (oil change, air filter change, spark plug change, injector cleaner, reset of the pcm) wouldn't hurt.

Winter blend, cooler weather, need for a tune-up, lower air pressure in tires during cooler weather are all prime factors...

So many other things come into play when it comes to MPG. Like all those suggested already but add to it the cats and O2's

I see a couple of people on here that i remember...Good to see you guys. Thanks for the reply.

Actually, this started a couple of months ago in the summer, and has continued on.

There is a strong odor of gasoline coming from the interior.
