Default Sc tranny tune????

Has anyone done the SC tranny tune? I mean the $40.00 upgrade from there website. If so did it make any real difference? I've read alot about it and the idea of manually tuning has got me a little scared but am pretty sure i could figure it out. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Look through the superchips sticky, there is a ton of info on the advanced transmission tuning. But the short answer is yes, it is worth the $40.

I was in the same boat as you. I bit the bullet and dove in. Someone on here will post a link for matt's or eric's shift schedule. They are aggressive shift schedules, but put them in then tone them down a few and you will love it. Thats what I did. Good luck!

Here is a link so some good shift schedules. http://www.mcfail.net/superchips/

I would start with one that is made for your year truck and then take notes as you drive. Note the what you like about where it shifts and other places you wish it would shift and adjust from there.

Do you have Microsoft excel? That is how everyone that I know kept track of and uploaded their shift schedules.
