Angry Dashboard

By the year 2002 humans were doing great and amazing things with plastics. It seems Dodge was not. My dash started deteriorating(spellcheck) at 50K, and now at 103K has large cracks top to bottom on right side of glove box. The panel on top has cracks everywhere. Does anyone know where to get replacement parts and how much? Will the new parts do the same? I thought about radical glue surgery and installing an overlay. Replacing the whole dash seems to me a nightmare.

The 02 and early 03 seems to have problems. MY tuck has a blue interior and both the defrost cover and the top dash pad. My heater core went out and I had to pull the dash. Well both top pieces cracked into a million pieces. I had a junk yard send me the whole dash for 250 bucks.

The defrost piece is only 150 bucks from dodge. The dash pad is like 700. It's bull**** i know.

I dunno, mine is in perfect shape still. I just posted that link because they did for that guy.

I'd call the dealer and b*tch, and maybe even print that post where they replaced it for him and bring it in with me.

I'd prepare for a battle though...

I called Dodge and they wanted $300.00 for the "defroster section" of the dash. I haven't tried to see if they'll replace it fro free,
