You also can run 285/70R17 even without level At least people say they don't have rubbing...

No..The biggest tire you could get stock from factory on 17" rims was 265/70/17.. Which is only a 31" tire. Whereas 285/70/17 are almost 33". On the factory 20" wheels they did come 33" tires stock

285/70/17 is about 32.5. You will have more than enough room for these with a level.. Level= anywhere around 33" if you want no rubbing at all and not stuffed.
3" body or 6" suspension= 35s

haha yeah im sure the girlfriend is barely 5' tall and i cant stand step bars so i have to keep it fairly tame plus getting a car seat in and out could be a chore down the road

what size level would be enough 1.5" or 2" id like it to look not so stuffed but id also like to keep the stock shocks or struts whatever you want to call them

You can reindex the torsion bars with new keys for 100 bucks or so and get 2". I got almost 3" but the ride was pretty harsh and backed it down to about 2.5.

I'm getting rid of my 285's and going with 315's later this month.
