You could have a 4 or 5 speed 45RFE or a 545RFE. As you say 45/55/58 (should be 45/55/68)

Fram Part number is FT1223 or FT1223A (this is replacing FT1223)

I have NO idea what those numbers refer to. The ONLY automatic transmission available on an '06 Ram 1500 would be the 545rfe and to my knowledge there are no "variants" of that transmission.

I have never had to supply ANY auto parts store with any information other than the year and that it's an automatic, EVER...

AC/Delco part number for the filter is TF-102, Mopar part number is M05013470AC if these help you...

Thanks guys! Do I get it right when I understand that there is only one automatic transmission available on the 2006 HEMI 4x4, and that this one is the 545RFE and that the numbers 45/55/68 refer to this one?
I truly appreciate your help!

The T-case model is stamped on the T-Case. Its either going to be a 243 model or a 246 model if I'm not mistaken. They take different types of fluid, DO NOT MIX THEM UP!

Also, download weedahoes service manual. Best 9000 pages ever.

If you can't figure out how to change t-case fluid and trans fluid + filter in the ram, you are in for one hell of a terrible experience with ownership.

I sent an email to dodge requesting the build sheet for your truck. When they email me back ill be glad to forward a copy to you. Send me a PM so that i have your email. This should help to avoid any future part questions you may have about your truck. (I got mine on thanksgiving day, i thought that was pretty good customer service)
