with your mods, not as long as a bone stock truck, LOL.

Are they mopar? My lift kit came with their own which are a good bit larger and beefier then the stockers. I just had the drivers' side tie rod end go on me after only 31k with the lift but the passenger side one was fine. Rancho sent me two replacement ends (even though the one side was fine) for NO COST, which was impressive since I put the lift on in April of '05...

Lucky, if the kit did not come with new ones, I cant see them lasting too long. The stresses put on the sway bar end links obviously make them go even with longer ones, but the ball joints are more from the huge tires

Mine are already wanting to go at 44k

dont forget to vote for TOTM

Hammer- I'm not sure if my BDS kit came with new ones or not, but i'm assuming not. I don't have any weird sounds, but i do have some tire wear issues starting. I had the truck checked out by a shop and they say all is good, i say bull.

Matt- i agree i don't see them lasting much longer as i hit 48k the other day and with the tires showing signs i'm thinking it's time to replace as everything else is new.

I think they are fine, however stock ones would last a while if they are not stressed. Same applies to everthing it seems. I hope mine last to the century mark. Not looking forward to all those didgits. lol.

The single best thing you can do Rocket is keep your tire size at or slightly below stock size. Lifting the front and going to big, heavy tires with greater rolling resistance are NOT friendly to front end components...

im about to roll over 165000. I had the ball joints replaced at 155000 and the tie rod ends have been popping since then. I could really go with out dumping more money into this truck though as im getting a new one in april so i havent decided if to replace them yet.

I like the idea of a new truck in the sprin, specially when you are so deep in mileage.

my truck is still stock ride height i replaced my ball joints at 195000km still haven't done the tie rod ends or upper ball joints. checked the front end over at 217000km and front seemed pretty solid still. but what i think i do need is new shocks because the truck just don't seem to ride like it used to. hopefully sometime next year i can upgrade to an 06 cummins mega cab, but the hemi is still gonna stay i got too much money put into it then what it is worth.
