Everything on my front end (BJs, tie rods, wheel bearings) are all OEM and have nto been replaced yet. I am at 76k. My links were changed because my lift came with longer ones.

However just because nothing has been changed doesnt mean it isnt coming. As soon as i get caught up after Xmas and taxes i will be replacing everything mention above (BJs, bearings, upper and lower control arms, bushings, ECT)

im sitting at 135000 miles and i have done both wheel bearings, but the tie rods and ball joints are still great, alot of it also has to do with your driving, like i keep the road on my ranch smooth and free of pot holes but if you hit alot if bumps or have crappy roads where you live that will make em go out faster also.

I am @ 135K on my 02 5.9 quad cab. Just replaced inner & outer tie rods on both sides & the right front wheel bearing for the first time. It really only needed the right side done but wanted both done @ the same time to keep all the parts the same & besides, changing the inner/outer tie rods is a pretty easy job. I aligned it and it rides/drives like new. Kinda wished I had done it a little sooner.

I just had the stock driver side outer tie rod end go at 84k miles. I replaced the passenger side outer tie rod end at the same time. Parts store had the MOOG greaseables for $59 a piece. Got an alignment, and should be good to go again. Ball joints on the rest of the suspension, all looked good.

I just had my tie rod ends replaced on my '08 that has only 35k on it. Took it for an oil change and the dealer and told me that I needed them. Lucky, they warrantied them. Bad thing was I had to pay $49 for an alignment.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but this is an issue i have been wondering about myself for sometime now. While driving down the road and going over a lets say a wash board area in the road, my front end will make an unusual popping noise that doesn't sound to hot. It doesn't pull and it drives like a jewel though. I'm sure one of you have had or heard this noise i'm describing. BJ's maybe, i don't know myself. I know as soon as the weather break, the boots on my R&P are leaking and the dealership said they will replace the whole unit. Again, don't mean to take away from this post, just curious about the popping noise i'm hearing and if it could be related to the topic here.

Nah, no hijack here, I think they are somewhat related. Good post, start a thread after your dealer has at it. Sound good?
