Default 2006 Ram 1500 quad floor heater

Not getting any heat out of the floor ducts. Feel heat coming out of the defrost instead. All other duct/controls appear to be working well. Tired of another year of freezing my feet off. Anyone out there with the same....and any ideas of a fix??? Thanks BA

yea I have the exact problem. Below zero temps w/no floor heat sucks. I was told it could be whats called the "blend doors" If Im not mistaken you have to remove the dash to get to them. I was quoted $1000+ at dealership and I laughed at the guy..I know alot of people that do it themselves on here in a day.

Hey, thanks. Will look into it..Guess at $1000 to fix I'd just suck it up. Been like that for a couple years...and after a while, I can't feel the cold anyway. Froze feet can't feel. BA

watch the heatertreater.net videos and pay attention to the "mode 2" door

i found a great step by step on justanswer.com it shows OEM diagram on taking apart the dash. i am getting prepared to fix my actuator flap. i attempted to "shortcut" this and not take apart the dash... DONT TRY IT, about 20 bolts or so and the dash will come right out. best luck

Bumped again...same problem here on my 08 1500 SXT.
Floor only mode on the dial = defrost which = dried out contacts and chapped lips...and then cold feet.
Did I read somewhere that the doors that control the flow are servo motors ?
Or is it just vaccuum ??
Thanks
Ted
