Default Oil Pressure gauge issue?

Hey guys, have a bit of an issue sometimes while starting my truck up. Occasionally usually when its either really cold or damp out i'll get the "check gages" light and i'll have no oil pressure on the gauge, I know theres oil pressure there that isnt the issue. Just wondering if anyways had similar issues and if so whats the fix?? After I shut it off and restart the gauge works fine, more of a pain then a serious issue!

Thanks a lot!

Perfect, Will check the plug for moisture, as that could be all it is, then will replace sending unit, I know its not lacking oil pressure as its ran for roughly 20 min or so with the gauge reading no pressure, Sounds fine, does not sound like an engine starving itself for oil.

Thanks for the info!!

I believe we suffer from "idiot light on a gauge", where the gauge is fake and we get either a "yes" or "no" signal from the sending unit.
