Default O2 Sensor @ Passenger Upstream of Cat

Any pointers getting at the sensor on the passenger side that is upstream of the Cat? I have an offset sensor tool from Harbor Freight and have had no luck getting it loosened up. I've shot it with PB Blaster 3 times but still nothing. Anybody done this particular one? Thanks

Welcome to Dodge Forum

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago and added a Bung as well to help with the Rich A/F code I was gettin with my new Cam.

It should come right Off, But the Vehicle should be completely cool. It is cramped for space in there for a Ratchet and 02 Sensor Socket so I used a 22mm Open end wrench as it does fit in there nicely length wise and it gives you lots of leverage (a 7/8 will strip the Nut). Alternatively you could try a closed end wrench on the 02 sensor socket as they usually come with a six point Top like most Spark Plug Sockets. These sensors come already coated with antiseize for a reason.
If you live in an area that is real salty and Humid you might have to heat it up to take it out. Good Luck.

I just keep my 3/4 wrench with me and use it when doing my O2s. Mine are in and out enough though that they are not frozen.

On the 03 Weed, 3/4 won't fit (too small) hence why I quoted the 22mm. weird eh! But then again I only got one Cat!

That is weird. I though O2s were a standard size.......

Yes 7/8 socket will catch it with the six point, but I was talkin open end wrenching in which i needed a perfect fit, and the Replacement Mopar 02 sensor was made in Japan, hence the 22mm Snap-on wrench vice the 7/8.

As you can see in the 02 sockets they call it 7/8 or 22mm or 7/8//22mm which is weird IMO.
