Default Brake/Reverse Light Problems

Okay, well ive been having some problems with my brake and reverse lights. They just randomly wont work, running lights are OK but no brake lights or reverse lights. Other times they will. I usually cut the truck off and start it back up and they will work

Bulbs are good, fuse is OK. Obviously they are alright because they will work sometimes. What yall think?

Have you checked the sockets they fit into to make sure there are no issues with them? Burnt or corroded contacts or loose connections?

yea weed there is nothing wrong with the bulbs. They just randomly work, so it makes me think there is some wiring problems or something.

I know it usually is the running lights that go with what I'm about to suggest.
But I have read on front headlights and indicators having similar issues when the fuse box or as Dodge like to call it the power distribution center starts corroding in the earth return lines.
Do a search on the PDC/fuse box failure problem and see if it's like the issues your having?
Just a long shot?
Al.
