Default 04 ram 1500 need a locker or a LSD

Looking for a locker or an LSD not looking for a crazy air operated locker or electronic one. Cans someone please give me a link to one that will work with my truck? What is the axle in my truck a 9.25" 31 spline? Saw a few powertraxx no slip ones price seems decent on them

Not a big fan of the powertraxx, lot of issues with them imploding or at least back when I researched what to get there were a lot reported. Lots of guys listed KABOOMS! with Powertraxx units. From the questions I've asked (both on forums and at my local 4 wheel drive shop) the Powertraxx uses a set of cogs that lock together. The problem is, they were never designed for the amount of power some of the newer truck engines put out and they tend to wear and round out with use. Then when power is applied they fail and go Kaboom.

If you are not going to get a selectable locker, I wouldn't recommend a true locker for a truck that is anywhere near a daily driver. None of them are very "streetable".

Best options are Auburn Gear LSD or a Detroit TruTrac.

actually It turns out my rear is an "Anti slip" so no need for a locker there but would like one for the front. Does anyone make one?

None for the front of an IFS Ram. But you really should look into replacing that stock LSD - ESPECIALLY in an '04!

Do a SEARCH both here and a Google search for "C-CLIP" and you'll see what I mean. There's probably enough info on that POS failing and taking out the entire rear differential just in this section alone to keep you reading 'til next Christmas...

Welcome to the wonderful world of IFS, where at best you own a three wheel drive vehicle...
