I had my 03 truck inspectioned today & it failed with the trouble code PO455 is this some thing that Dodge will take care of. Has any one else had this code come up.

I guess I should have did a search before I posted, looks like it should not be that hard to find. I am not use to working on this new stuff.

Evap system leak. would be covered under 3/36 but not under the powertrain.

Common things that would cause the code are a bad fitting gas cap, hole in an evap hose or a split at a hose clamp.

There is a "map" of the evap system in the FAQ section...

yep you got a leak in the evaporator system. check the hose clamps they rust out and fail really fast.

Check all the hoses under the truck at the evap canister right before the fuel tank. Did you have a CEL on when you went to the inspection?

Thanks everyone for the help it was cracked hose & clamp. It runs a lot better & gets better gas milage again. Thanks Bill
