Check Guages light came on in my truck tonight. So I look down and holy **** no oil pressure. Turned truck right off rolled to side of the road got out check oil level oil was fine. Get back in truck start it up oil pressure guage went right back up. Was this a freak thing anyone ever heard of this before? Its an 2006 Hemi 53,000 miles.

 

There are a few threads on this. If it happens again you can do two things. One is put a manual oil gauge on it to see if you are actually losing pressure or if the sensor is just going out. Or you can go ahead and replace the sensor now and see if thats all you need to do.
