Default Trans And rear diff fluid change

well its that time for a change. for the trans i was gonna drain, clean the pan, change the two filter and refill. does this sound good? how many qts will this take? now for the rear diff i know i need 75w-140 since it says that in my manual. I also have a lsd so i need the mopar additive right? also how many qts for that change too? thanks

make the pan drop easy and unhook the return line and let it pour into a bucket with the engine running for a few seconds long enough to see it sputtering. This will drain the pan for you and make it cleaner process.
Pan drops require 7qts of fluid I think? How many miles you got on the rest of the fluid?

2.25qts for the rear diff. Or 2qts and a tube of modifier. I used just Mobil 1 no addditive in mine, but that extra qt is pricey for just .25qts worth.

Cuz Mobil 1 has it in it already and I haven't had any issue's yet. We could argue the Mopar additive is neded, but Mopar doesn't even make their additive and it's nothing special over other firction modifiers.

and 49kmi..I say you woulnd't even need to do a filter change yet and just to a fluid flush. that's 17qts total

Gets filled 1/2" below filler hole.(cover half your pinky nail when inserted through the fill hole) Buy a screw on funnel that has a clear tube for an extension. Mine is about 20" long and it makes getting the fluid in the diff so much easier.

I used Mobil 1 also ( Dirtydog recommended ) changed mine 2 days ago . I used two bottles of it along with the friction modifier it was cheaper than three bottles of Mobil 1
