I used a product like this for my dads classic Cobra about 6-7 years ago no problems with it to date .. BUT follow directions and make sure it's clean it took a couple of hours but well worth it in the end... I even had it dyed to match the old color (a company here in Pa Dye-it-Rite ) But i will say the car is garaged and pampered
