Ha, you think changing plugs is hard, try taking it to the dealer and reaching into your wallet to pay the $300.00 plus bill, now that's hard.

A piece of vacuum hose that fits over the plug to start them by hand and not cross thread them works good for me. I changed mine on my 08 and to took about 1.5hrs. About 15min longer them my 01 5.4L F150 I had.

My plugs were a piece of cake, i know everyone says to do the hardest ones first but i did the easiest ones first so by the time i got to the back 2 on the driver side I could pretty much do it all by feel with blindfolds on.

Default spark plug

I figure I've got another 25k miles before I have to change the plugs, I'm at 175k miles now and they seem fine.

issue with the fords is that the "L" code engine is the ones you snap plugs in.
