im starting to think a spacer is plenty of lift for me basically all im wanting to do was put 33" tires without being too stuffed and do it for little money but as of today sounds like the first mod im going to do is a remote start seems like every car should come stock with it ive been researching that and sounds like i better buy the mopar one and buy a new sentry key that has the remote start button unless theres some way to do it with the factory sentry key

I have a 2" leveling kit on my truck. I just posted this picture in another thread pertaining to basically the same question. My truck is an 08 2wd with a 2" leveling kit and 33" tires on 20" wheels.

Yeah, where I live it is the same way.. In the single digits in the winter sometimes, and 120 in the summer... There is only a very short period of time where the weather is mild and that's in the early spring. My remote start comes in handy in the winter, but like weedahoe said, it makes your gas tank empty faster.

I agree razorhawg, its the same here in LA. Its either 105 or 30. Im always running out to cut the truck on early in my boxers haha.

But if you are wanting to "fit" 33s without being stuffed, then do it without a lift haha. Your truck comes stock with 33s everyday. Thats the size that comes on the stock 20s.

But 2" does put a nice stance to the truck. It takes something like 3" to perfectly level a 06-08 2wd but 2" makes it alot closer. Also, 2" is probably the max you would want to go and have a fairly good ride. I have the "2.5" inch level, which is actually 3" tall, and I have a pretty good bounce on bumps

heres mine with the 2.5"
