2wd suspension
so ive been bugging some of you about specs on your 2wd leveling kits and what size tires you can run well ive had this thought for a while about just skipping the whole spacer thing and trying to find a longer coil spring itself so ive been forum hopping looking for different 2wd trucks that are leveled and i ran across one that had the CST CSC-D3-2 3" lift springs of course these are only for the 2002-2005 (i think correct me if im wrong) ram but i was wondering if CST or someone made a lift spring for a 2007 because then if i didnt like the stance i could add a spacer to that and then add a leaf or rear blocks as the truck sits right now the top of the front wheel well sits at 34-3/4" and the top of the rear wheel well is right at 38-1/2" running 245-70r-17 at 35 psi
but i also just found another thread talking about 3" lift spindles would it be worth the extra 100 bucks for the spindles or try out the lift springs?
heres a link of what im referring to when i say lift spring

I have not seen a lift spring for the 06-08 trucks. I have the 2.5in spacer and the ride is less than desirable.
There are spindles for $270, I would go that direction if i could start over because with the cost of the spacer+shocks I wasnt far off from that anyway

I used to run those 3" CST springs with my 3" RC spindles but I have an 04. You cant get away with that on an 07.
How high total are you trying to get? Or are you just trying to level the front?

high enough to slip in a good 33" or 34" and not looked too stuffed i cant get it too high for one thing im not a big fan of step bars and the future wife is barely 5' tall and another reason is i own a mowing business so getting tools out of the back and towing is still important if i went the spindle route could i still use stock wheels?

awesome thanks for the info im going with the spindles and hoping to fit a 295/70-17 but if thats not possible i guess i could deal with the 285/70-17 adding either one of those tires will add a couple of inches also so i think that will be plenty high i might go with an exta leaf or a helper on the rear just to help out with towing (i have a lot of tongue weight)
ok read on the cst website about the 4" spindle and wondering if this applied to the airbagit 3" spindle also but the cst website says quote: "WHEELS MUST NOT HAVE MORE THAN 4.75" BACKSPACE" so now im wondering what my backspace is on my factory wheel ive googled up and down and cant find crap on it or at least not on my style of wheel... if i cant use the factory wheel all bets are off on the spindle lift
i put a close up of my wheel for reference in my sig since there are different 17" wheels on the 2007s
