So does anyone know can you dump in any ATF+4 to top off the power steering resivor, or does it have to be mopar? If it neeeds to be mopar does anyone know who makes mopar so i don't have to spend 10.00 a qt just to add a bit.

 

I have always used the cheap stuff from Advance, and I have only been through 1 rack n' pinion. I have and will NEVER use anything that claims to stop leaks though.

 

Yeah, any kind will work as long as is it ATF4

 

I work for a steering company, any steering fluid will work. I agree you're not supposed to use clogging agents (though I have) as they may damage the pump.
