Default AWD Question

I have an 04 Quad Cab Hemi Laramie edition that is always in AWD. We recently got a couple of inches of snow and when I turn a corner the rear end wants to fishtail like a rear wheel drive vehicle causing me to go sideways. I thought this shouldn't happen while the vehicle is in all wheel drive. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

Do you have a LSD? In many cases having a limited slip is counter-productive in the snow.
The biggest thing is not to think you are invincible in snowy/icy condition just because you have 4WD or AWD. You still have to know how to drive in poor conditions or you are gonna be in the ditch just as easily as a 2WD vehicle would...
