To answer the OP's other question, bigger heavier tires like those with 17's will likely weigh more than then stock 20s and 33s. That means more fuel to start, more brake pads to stop usually all around less MPG to a slight degree.

This was already established, I was refering to a 35'' diameter on a stock 20'' wheel, sorry for the confusion.

You would not lose A LOT but may notice it might now have as much "umph". Most guys when they go bigger tires/rims they also re-gear the rear end to offset the larger rims/tires

Your lift was recent? I could of sworn you were sporting just a level, when I leveled mine. (back in may) 2010.

if ur goin to do any mudding i woulnt do it i have the stock 20's and i hate them in the mudd they get off balance bad from the mud the 17's wont do it as bad id go with the 17's. As for tire wieght look at the tires web site for weight most will tell u u can prob get a 17 rim and tire that wieghts less than a 20 and tire combo if u lookcause the tire wieghts dont very that much and im sure the 17's are a lot lighter that the 20's
