only picture I managed to take of the inside of the new ram from the auto show... recognize that they shoved the front seats all the way to their farthest forward positions to make it look like the back seats have more room. In reality there wasnt any more room than the current 4-door with the exception of behind the rear seat itself, kind of a scam if you ask me, but whatever. I dont like the front end treatment but the MDS sure will be a welcome addition to all of the future owners. At least they wont suck as much gas as we currently do.

Could we just move this to a "Gen 4" or maybe "Gen 3.5" section and be done with it? Man, am I glad I went through all the hassle I did to get my '05.
Among all the verbiage above, did they ever say that they are doing away with the 7 year/70K mile warranty? AutoWeek didn't mention it. Talking with one of the dealer staff when I picked up my '05 Monday, he said, "Now, I can finally sell some extended warranties, again. Oh, I shouldn't have said that!"
And looks? Like DC meets Nissan. Sorry.

well, the front end doesnt look as bad. I would welcome the new suspension and frame along with MDS. I purposly bought my 05 for 2 reasons, one I like the 05 front end much better and 2 PRICE. My truck MSRP for 38 and I paid 26 for it. I was going to buy an F-150 but thought that for 26 fully loaded, I would be on crack to pass it up. Plus the HEMI really is awsome along with the 5 spd auto. I like the regular quad cab config, it works well for me. I wasnt really too hip on the idea of a small bed of a F-150 crew cab. The mega cab may be nice but my verdict will have to wait until I see on eon the road. Whats up with TRX4 for the new off road name, than god mine just says 4x4 OFF ROAD on the bed, I would hate to have to explain everytime what pills the guys at DC are poppin. I really would like to see what the bucket seats look like. Well, my 05 is working great ( it should its only1 month old.) I am just curious at what the rebates will be like when it come out if any rebates at all. Price was my biggest reason for buying the Dodge, otherwise I would probably be driving another Ford.

I would rather have some other storage room like in the bed with a lockable compartment used like a trunk, like in the Honda Ridgeline. Instead of having reclining rear seats, as the driver it would do me no good anyway. They did away with the metal fold out tray and now you go back to having to lay your stuff on the fabric or carpeted section on the back of the seats when you fold them down.
Any way you look at it, I wouldnt wasting my money on a MegaCab for sure. But you can go right ahead...
