I have had this issue as well, I noticed that is happening due to the cold. I am in the Cincinnati area we have had a long stretch of cold weather, it seems to come on, on days below 20 degrees, have had a few days in the mid 20's and above and no low W.W. Fluid light on.??. Fluid still flowing as it should when the light is on, I just figured the sensor was freezing up on the colder days. IDK, just thought I'd add my two cents worth.

I know this is an old thread but was wondering if anyone has a fix for this. I replaced the sensor and the light still came on. I checked the resistance of the new sensor and the old and both showed the same value. I drained the reservoir and flushed with city water. Refilled with city water,,, same result. I took the sensor and placed a jumper between the two probes; still had the light. Even checked the wires coming out of the connector to make sure the connector was good. It checked good. I tried to follow the wires back but that was a waste of time. Looks like the front end of the car would need to be removed just to see where they go!! I wish I knew where they terminated so I could check to see if one of the wires is open. I did check each wire to ground and one showed continuity. Found that unusual beings it is just sending a resistive value back to the (PCM)?? , more than likely just feedback from something else. And as far as removing a battery cable, which one? My 21 Durango has two batteries. Also, could the warning indicator be cleared using a ODB decoder?? Anyways, any help is appreciated..
