I know I've posted a couple of questions about a Magnaflow universal muffler on a 3.7 before, but does anybody have any recommendations? Is it even worth getting one for a 3.7? I'm really just going for a better sound and maybe better gas mileage.

Wont do much for mileage but will change the sound.

What is your current mileage with that baby 3.7 anyway?

my father has a 4.3l v6 in his silverado with a single flowmaster 40 to duals coming straight out the back at idle sounds like any v8 but then on take off.. well thats a different story no difference in gas mileage just a sound difference im sure the magnaflow would sound better on a v6 just because they are a little more quiet so the drone and the (lack for better word) ricey sound wouldnt be as noticed if you really step on it

 

I personally prefer anything other than a V8 to be quiet as possible.
I have a 24" SI/DO on my Hemi and it is still plenty loud. Not as raw and raspy as a Rustmaster.
