Default Power locks and instrument cluster

Hi hope someone can help
I have a 2004 ram SLT QC 5.7 hemi, ive been having issues with the door locks which i have had a previous thread about but is still unresolved. I took the truck to an auto electrician as a final last effort to resolve this problem. Now, he tells me that when you hit the power lock switch its sends a signal to the instrument cluster then the cluster sends a feed to the door locks which in turn either lock or unlock the doors, as i have seen the wiring diagram this seems feasible to me, is this correct? the other question is if there is a fault with the cluster can this be repaired? is there anybody out there that is good with printed circuit boards that could throw some light to what parts would need changing. Thanks

Neil

What was the exact issue you were having with the locks? Was it all of them or one of them?
