I have one on all four vehicles. Works great. Get the one with the nipple on it (F106N, I think). You can slip a small tube over the nipple and direct the drain directly into the catch-pan.

Ive got one on my truck also and like MikeHTally, I have the one with the nipple. It truly makes everything easier, faster and no mess.

My wife has a similar one on her Mini Cooper

To me, they have already paid for themselves with the time I have saved

Mine's an '02. For the life of me, I can't remember which way the oil drain faces. Pretty sure it's toward the rear of the car, so clearance is not an issue. For those like me who are extra-cautious, I put a 5/8" spring-type hose clamp over the valve so it can't accidentally open. It probably can't anyway, but just for the extra level of security.

I have had one on mine for about 3 years with no issues, make oil changes easy and clean, I have had them on previous vehicles as well with no issues.
