CEL turning on and off, EGR valve

CEL turning on and off, EGR valve
The check engine light turned on on my 07 hemi so i stopped at autozone and had them read the code for me.
He gave me three printouts for P0406, P1404, P0404
all three have things to do with EGR and all three say failed EGR valve.
I took out the EGR valve and cleaned it and replaced it and the light is still on.
i need suggestions where to go next. the light would go on for a day then go off later then turn on again a few days later then off again. now its on and stays on. when driving last night the truck was almost jerking a little when going about 45.

Spend $40 and put in a new EGR valve. I've cleaned 'em before, sometimes you buy a month or two before the CEL returns, sometimes it never gets rid of the CEL at all. A new one works every time...

Light would go on and off randomly.
If i set the cruise around 50 the truck would shift hard and constantly shift up and down. Replaced the EGR (i think it was $54 from advanced auto) and cleaned the throttle body. Once replaced, i pulled fuse #23 to reset PCM, turned ignition to on, then turned off. Replaced the fuse and started truck, all is good, no light.
