Now imagine having two of them.....

Duralast Gold,
850 cold cranking Amps (1000 cranking Amps) *** 150 reserve minutes. -> 3 year free replacement
for around 125 bucks at autozone.

If you get stuck having to buy, you may want to try an Optima yellow top. It's got plenty of CCA, plus it's a hybrid deep cycle and tends to rebound much better after being depleted.

As far as having a jump starter, try to find a Jump 'N Carry if they have them over there. I have jumped some big trucks with my JNC660 (1100 peak Amp) with enough juice to do it a few times over before needing a re-charge. I've even used it for a few hours powering a trolling motor and then jumped a buddies Chevy pickup with it. They also have a 900 unit that packs 1700 peak Amps...

So it looks like just another crappy battery!

Going to book her in to the dealership asap.....
Yeah, it can take up to 20min for some components to turn themselves off. upwards of 50mA w/an alarm is normal. Add another 10-20mA if you've got a bypass module for remote starting.

So, my questions is, what is the spec of the battery? Ah, max current draw etc? Then I can buy the right battery, thanks.
OEM batteries are 650CCA for non-tow and 750CCA for tow packages.
You want a good reserve capacity which is right around 100-110min for OEM 750CCA rated batteries. I think the Duralast Gold from Autozone is 120min reserve which is a beast of a battery.
Max current draw is not of any concern. Stick to the 2 figures above(CCA and reserve) and you be good.

Im on my third MOPAR battery, if my truck sits over two days it wont start. I have a portable jumpstarter that I just keep in the truck.

I think ive got a short somewhere though, the metal actually draws a current in my truck

There seems to be a lot of 2007's with battery failures!?

Unfortunately unless I buy off eBay or from the dealer (another Mopar item) I'm stuck with converting to a UK spec battery, so I've managed to get an 086 for a reasonable price, only trouble is apart from being slightly taller is that it isn't as wide, so I've got to adapt the battery clamp tomorrow.

Are the Mopar batteries maintenance free, ie sealed for life batteries? I managed to pry out the plugs and found low fluid levels in one of the cells, which is probably the cause of the failure, I've topped it up and tried charging it to see if it will recover.....

I've got a jump pack, which does start it, I just need to keep it charged up!

My 07 is holding up, but if the truck sits for more than 10 days, without running, it won't start. It has done that from new.

Yeah, the stock batteries are supposed to be maintenance free.
