new radiator
so it turns out the PO but to much radiator sealant i guess its called silversy or something like that and the only hose on my radiator that gets stiff while running is the top one and to top it all off its been so cold it froze what little water was in my ps pump and so that needs replaced next ugh! but anyways where is the best/cheapest place to get a radiator for a 2004 dodge ram 1500 3.7? thanks
ps or could the only one hose stiff be because a bad tstat but i dont think it is because when i replaced my head gasket i was checking the fluid level and there was some silver stuff leaking to the top

Never ever use radiator or block sealant. You are just begging for future issues.
Try www.rockauto.com or some local junkyards

Check around your area and see if there is a radiator shop. One of the tanks burst on my radiator (the hot side). I had a local radiator shop repair it for $90.00 They can also clean and rod it out. If both your tanks are ok the cost may be much cheeper than mine. I did find on eBay radiators cheap, around $125 shipping included but who knows how long that'd last, and probably made in Mexico or China.
Im too against stop leak. It's just a temporary band-aid and it clogs the system. Before you install a new radiator be sure to flush and re-flush. Get all that gunk out. If its a way you can reverse flush the system that might clean any buildup you have in the heater core.

I just purchased a rad for one of my Jeep Grand Cherokees 5.2L from these folks.
https://www.radiatoravenue.com/index_s.html , delivered in a couple of days.
Made in Mex. Looks good qual. I'll install it when summers comes in approx four weeks.
No problems w/the OEM rad, the jeep is approching 70K miles and its about time to work preventive maint mode.
