I know this may have been disscused before but I am new to the site.I am wondering how loud is it if you remove the muffler and leave the resonator? Is it a nice sound at the tail pipe? And how is the noise level in the cab.I want it sounding nice outside and quiet in.

It will be loud, both in and out. Sound sort of raspy, and cackle somewhat. Not a pretty sound at all.

I'd have to agree that it would sound crummy.

That probably means he removed the resonator. I did on mine as well and it barely made a difference in the sound.
