Default MSD Coils???

I was thinking about getting some of the MSD coils for my '03 5.7, what are some thoughts on them? Do they do anything for you better then the stock ones?

Thanks

They do not do any better than the stock coils. Don't waste the money.

Are the 6.1 coils better than stock? If so, what kind of difference can be felt? Don't mean to hijack, just talking on the subject

02-05 coils where ones where it directly fired one plug under the coil and one plug on another cyl on the opposite side of the engine. This was to spark the exh and ensure all fuel was spent. Think of it as emission compliance.

06-08 used a dual firing coil where the lost the plug wires and fired both plugs under the coil. These were also used on 6.1's.

Are they better? IMO, no really. But they look better and more clean because there is nothing going across the engine anymore.
